Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions regarding clinical assessments, claim pre-approvals, direct billing, and in-home services.

Under Part 7 Enhanced Care, ICBC covers medically necessary rehabilitation, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and kinesiology, directly with approved providers like Patriot Rehab. We handle direct billing and pre-approval requests on your behalf, so you can focus on recovery rather than paperwork.

Yes. While early intervention supports the best outcomes, we regularly work with clients well beyond the initial 12-week window, including those with ongoing chronic pain or delayed-onset symptoms. Our intake team can help confirm your current coverage eligibility.

A referral is not always required to book an initial assessment, though certain insurance streams (such as WorkSafeBC or extended health plans) may request one for reimbursement. Our intake coordinators will confirm exactly what your specific coverage requires.

A registered clinician visits your home to evaluate your mobility, safety risks, and daily function within your actual living environment. You'll receive a written summary of findings along with a personalized treatment plan and any recommended equipment or home modifications.

We liaise directly with your WorkSafeBC case manager and employer to align your treatment plan with job demands analysis, graduated return-to-work scheduling, and any required workplace ergonomic modifications, keeping every stakeholder informed at each milestone.

Please bring photo ID, your claim number (ICBC, WorkSafeBC, or extended health), and any relevant medical reports. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment to avoid a missed-visit fee.
